And stay in school.
Check out his post about using new strings before a job at The Villages. It's EPIC! No, really, it got pretty nuts.
I saw Jimmy’s string thread...comedy gold
Got a link?
Totally Epic that one.
Two pages and already I'm losing the will to live.

NAMM photos are pouring in on TalkBass. I’ve been to NAMM as an endorser maybe 8-10 times...loved it the first time when I was a kid. Been downhill ever since. Pretty much eleventy billion variations on a J bass, but with some ‘exotic’ wizard wood. I just don’t get it. Couple cool things in a crowded, noisy sea of goofiness![]()
Meanwhile USPS says , "Available for pickup...retrieved from full parcel locker 5:41 PM"

The bass is super clean, never left the house, grain is spectacular in person. $400 Shipped in the lower 48.
I hadn't thought of that. It's a outstanding idea, and I'll put it in place right away. There's a reason there's two of us. Somebody has to fill in the blanks.Keep your good ol' pike next to your trusty theremin.
I think maybe I'll skip it.Just read that whole thing...my gosh
Ultralight clovers and ashtrays and that would be pretty close to a perfect 'Bird. It's beautiful. Thanks for distracting us from the rabbit hole we were going down.View attachment 2890397 View attachment 2890398 View attachment 2890399 Before I offer this elsewhere. I have the black 3-point on my '01 that I plan to replace. I'm not sure it's in a perfect shape as you would want, though. It's good, but it has been on there since 2001 and the bass hasn't sat in its case. If if is good enough and we did work a trade, it would have to be my 3-point plus cash for your Babicz.I'm ready to remove this gigantic bridge from my '18 Gibson. Thought I'd let you guys/gals know. Not sure what I'd want for it but I DO know I need a excellent condition black 3 pt for the Gibson. A couple other things I'm needing; a black hipshot A style (maybe B), Schaller roller bridge and DiMarzio model PJ pickups. This is definitely an awesome (and rediculous expensive) bridge but I just don't like how it looks. So, any interest let me know before I just sell it for alot of $
He still does use four 115’s. As much as I’d love to put in a ton of work on a cab virtually no one will buy...
Right now in boutique world, most folks want tiny cabs they can practically fit in a gig bag![]()
Nope, never. Not around here. Bunch of harpies, we are.Sheesh, not gonna escape the criticism tonight. See the double Hercules Stand?
Just got back from the post office! I unpacked the bass there because the box looked as if it had been through a war...large holes and plenty of dents, but thanks to generous amounts of bubble wrap, all is well!

It’s a really nice bass and very different from my Gibson’s, which I was hoping would be the case. The Thunderbucker Ranch ‘63 is a very nice sounding pickup! Very punchy and clear. Much brighter than my Gibson’s. Like, a lot brighter. Carlo did a perfect setup. The neck is a bit wider than my ‘Birds. It’s closer to all my other basses. That’s neither here nor there as I’m not super fussy about but width. The neck feels really good and looks nice. Cool dot markers! The matching headstock is a nice touch. I’ll play it more throughout the day and maybe make a video clip, but first impressions are very glowing. Thanks Carlo!
Looks like the Drop kicked the Shipping box. Glad the Packing did it's job. Very Nice!
