Been doing a tiny bit of work in the shop, which kept getting harder and harder to do. It went from ‘not very tidy’, to ‘pretty messy’ all the way to ‘desperate cry for help.’ Gonna stop working and start cleaning

And whenever I bring a newly finished cab inside the house, this is the very first thing that happens

@RedVee, it's Sydney Guitar Setups on the corner of Parramatta Road and Nelson Street in Annandale. They only had the 5/16 Gibson version, so it's a good thing it fits! I'm struggling with one of the 3 point ferrules coming out at the moment. I tried shimming it but it still pulls up. I worry about splitting the body if I stuff too much packing in.

This one has been rewired with Chinabuckers and is ready to find a new home.

Good luck with the sale. I’ll keep my eye on it’s progress. Got things to work out yet. I’m still digesting the Gibson purchase and haven’t figured out what I want to do next.

Damn cat woke me up at 5am...he was on a mission and he succeeded. Drug him (literally kicking and screaming) out of the bedroom and shut the door so the girl could sleep a couple more hours before work. Now she’s peeved at me for being mean to that awful, spoiled a$$hole when all I did was pick him up and carry him out so she could sleep. One of those two will be the death of me. Pretty sure it’ll be the cat...fine, more coffee then

I had my recertification class for pet first aid the other day, and the instructor said that in terms of potential harm to humans, a ten pound cat is equal to a fifty pound dog. Not getting into a cat vs. dog argument, just saying that a cat can fyck you up.

I’m an authorized Greenboy builder as well as my own BNA Audio stuff. Greenboy is an amazing designer. I’ve probably built at least 150-175 of his designs by now. The BNA stuff leans a tad more old school with sealed designs

Our boy is solid muscle and if he's really pissed off I can't actually hold on to him he's that strong.

Yeah, I was bitten by a cat which came into my house one night to steal food from the girl who liked having her nails filed. I woke up with a balloon where my hand used to be. Antibiotics and tetanus shots all round!

We have just had a staff mbr in Hospital after an untended cat bite. Then daily visits back & on a drip for another week.
They told her she could have lost her arm.

You probably wouldn't want to. Canine teeth are designed to crush bones and hold on to/shake prey. Feline teeth are razor sharp and
penetrate into soft tissue and blood vessels. And the claws!

Am I correct in that, when tilted back, the ported part of that cab would be on the top? I have seen other front-ported cabs built that way (e.g., Eden) but others I see (e.g., Markbass) are ported on the bottom. Stupid question of the day: Does it matter (and if so, why)?

You make it sound like Canine bites are the lesser of two evils....
