I tried to contact the dude who painted Nikki's bass and no response so I'm taking a chance and dropped the body off with the guy who does my bands drops. Leary but *** right? Worst case, a week or 2 lost and a repaint (and sand, and sand ) hopefully he pulls it off. As a professional tattoo artist of 20+ years I'll say that design is simple, well see. ..

Just getting caught up with all you guys. Read ten pages worth, i missed a bunch. Been busy with work, kids, practicing, and house hunting.

Me too, I have two Mock basses and 1 Mock 6 string would add more if budget allowed. Yes, John is my hero for designing the Mock!
That is why this is, bar none, the best group on TB. Friendly and welcoming and the absolute best group administrator/moderator!Ha!. It can get hot where we practice, hence the "attire".
The cabs and the big Mesa head (not sure which one it is- an M6?) under my GK Fusion 550 (in the top SKB with my Petersen Stroborack) belong to the practice space. I always take my amp to practice because I much prefer it to the Mesa and I like running my head with the 2 Neo cabs- sounds huge. My own cab is a 4 Ohm GK Neo 410 which I have no complaints with at all. Although, if I wasn't concerned with the size I would definitely have bought the Neo 412- best sounding cab I have ever used.

That happened to me as well! I was in my mid-20's when an ex stole or threw out a collection of all my high school years' pics. I hardly have any mullet pics left. Just a few in my parents' albums.
Same here. Mind you, I have tons of "Merely OK" pics from the last 39 years, but most of the Truly EPIC ones are gone.
(At least all the 80's Spandex pix are gone... I hope)
My 80's pics were prime! I had a range from burnout to jock as I partied and was all about metal and played sports. I took AP classes too which allowed me to float around three distinct groups.

just scored a limited Korea bird (red) for very cheap (it has a warwick gigbag for bird and a White scratchplate, I Need both for my pro)... what to do with it? dunno.... start the fenderbirdin' again?

Well, here's a shot of it the day it arrived............. I think I played maybe twice in stock condition, I bought it knowing that I'd turn it into my own take on a 7enderbird.
I don't recall it's stock tone being exceptional. Just another time I "out stupid" things.
Here it is finished, it was my first try at modifying a bass. The pups didn't survive, I used some SD '51 P Bass single coils potted into ;76Gibson covers - There are occasions that something 7enderesque in tone is useful.
