Ya' know I haven't mentioned why I dropped by the club thread again. The Geetar picker, that I work with has recently picked up a prime 1990 Firebird specimen. And even though I still have the 1977 Greco TB-900 and a 2011 Gibson short scale, I haven't been breaking them out hardly at all. But now, since he fired all the rest of his axes for the time being, I know carpe diem when I see it

And he's also just getting back out there after a several month long hiatus, and so am I.
'Birds are just dang flat out cool and fun to play! Think this is really what we both needed, and just what the Doctor ordered.
The lack of fun- started to be like a chore and a job sorta deal, that same ole same old funk was settling in again.
If you feel like it's time for a break- it is.
And a recent pm convo that I had with another club member that's been swinging by here lately, really resonated with me as well.
Gotta keep that flame lit, because once ignited- it's eternal.
Roger that.
Just the past few days spent here has been a tonic as well. Set me to thinking about things I haven't revisited for more than 40yrs.
But now, I'm looking forward to doing more of that. And feeling good while going about it.
