@kat888, Since posting in your amp poll, I remembered that I do have a couple of other lunchboxes. Got another lunchbox killowatt - an AI Focus 2r serIII that I use mostly for DB, hence my momentary memory lapse. Haven't given that beast any love for a couple yrs now. I also have a few lunchbox combos- one of those new Fender rumble 200/15 which lasted all of 2 weeks before failing. Wasn't even using a bass with it either, just had the ipod hooked up to break in the speaker while at the house. I've had better luck with the Fender TV15, but man- that thing is a tote and a half, heavy. And a few smaller combo's like a Vox T60, SWR workingman's 12 and the PJB briefcase etc;

Yeah, I'm one of those kooks that's got way too much stuff.
SVT-AV, V4B-AV, B15R, I really dig the B15R, Don Oatman made a matching extension cab for it.
Orange AD200B Mk3, Eden 800c and I recently picked up a 550b again. SWR SM-900, had a Burgundy face 350 that I recently sold to a friend, but he hasn't paid for it yet so I guess it's still technically mine. :rolleyes:

Like alot of other folks I've done my fair share of churning amps, and the ones that I currently have are the ones that were still around after the dust settled. Sure there's been a few that I let get away and would like to revisit- like the Acoustics & the Sunn's and even a Silverface Bassman 135 and a Traynor YBA-3A. But those have been gone for so long now, that I would need to have a specific requirement to hunt any of them down again. And like a recent convo here, the fact that the ACC's & Sunn's etc; are still around is testament to their place in the pantheon of classic iconic amps.

Did he ever use this live? Geezer’s tone sounds amazing on their last performance it was it Hartke gear?

I only have a small sample set, but them Geezer amps ain’t getting the best reviews based on what I’ve seen

I've been playing bass in church worship services for thirty years. It's very fulfilling.
I've never played on a worship team, but my favorite musical experience came playing a Sunday night service. My Dad was on the staff of Skyline Wesleyan church, a small little church in San Diego with a membership of 3000. They wanted to try something different on Sunday night, and did a kinda talk show format with a house band. We did Always With Me Always With You by Joe Satriani as the into tune, then did one I can't remember, Sailing by Christopher Cross, Footloose, and one more. What was so awesome was that my brother (Dan Knowlton here on Talkbass) was on drums (before he took up bass and became WAAAAY better than me) and a guy who owns a small guitar making company called Taylor Guitars. As you might imagine, Bob Taylor can play a little. He played a Paul Reed Smith in this ridiculous deep aqua blue made for and given to him by his friend who's signature is on the headstock. There were about 750 people there that night. Biggest crowd I've played bass in front of.

I played trombone in marching band at halftime at Charger games a few times at Jack Murphy Stadium. That was, what, 50,000 bodies, I think. The echo in that place is nuts.

He's been a longtime Hartke user but I saw a clip on yoot oob that said he was using Ashdown in the last few years. He's been at it so long that he could use a Gorilla practice amp and it'll sound like him.

Due to a variety of factors beyond our control at the house, we're gonna be without internet for a couple days, and I don't have data on my phone again till the 15th. Two or three days of you guys running off at the fingers is gonna put me somewhere between 500 and 2500 posts behind...but I'm gonna read 'em all and get caught up. I just think that's gonna take a while. LOL!

Not yet, i'm on my way back from Denmark to get you. I'll never make it in the maids outfit. If all goes well, and i land the pool guy/cook gig..........
Oh, i forgot to tell Michael, i'm really good at landscaping as well. So, if i can hold those three positions, you just have to accompany me looking the fine one that you are.

Landscaping might be possible too, although there really isn't that much garden to maintain...

Someone to feed the cats when we are not home could be useful though - And then there will be the fully equipped music room that might need regular dusting off. :)
