Not as yet. I am guessing it's a bad jack, pot or worst case scenario the pickups are open.

Well ****. I plugged in my new Vintage Pro Thunderbird and it's dead quiet, not a peep. Checked all my cables, had a look in the back, nothing out of place. Tried other basses and they work. So much for Sweetwaters 55 point check. I guess its going back.
Found the problem! Simple short on the tone pot. :)
