Can someone help me out here? Was there really an offensive comment or was it feigned offense for humor's sake because I guess I totally missed the offense. Can someone "quote" the exchange so I don't have to spend too much time looking for whatever it was? If not, how about a page number for where it started?
I don't remember. The feigned offense was barely justified and was hard to discern. But, we had been a few pages without an ehem. Therefore, it was required.

You're fine, according to me anyway. Do not change who you are. When did you say something offensive?

He didn't. He got an official ehem because we were slacking in that department. He provided a public service in the pursuit of appropriate ehem levels.

Then why was Christine apologizing? She seemed sincere in trying to make amends and Fix even posted that bit about not changing and all that. This all seems odd.

Because, as you know, 'Bird players are so easily offended, y'know. And no little smiley things, because we are Very Serious At All Times [tm].
It can honestly be said that we'll poke fun at any and every thing around here-except 'Birds!(was gonna put smiley thing but thought better of it)

If you look at the specs the intonation adjustment looks tiny :( and it's probably made from turds

Trying to eat here!

Sorry, not sticky toffee pudding I hope?

ehem

That's on general principles. We haven't had an official ehem for a while and somebody needed to do it, no matter how tenuously it's deserved.

Hint taken, I shall refrain from mentioning anything like that again, I had no idea we were that sensitive

We have very sensitive principles. The rest? Negotiable.

I've spent 50 something years being someone I wasn't, now I'm finally who I want to be that I'm afraid is 100% non negotiable. I suspect my manic sense of humour doesn't really fit in, that I can't help, life has made me what I am. So maybe I would be better off just keeping my input to a bare minimum so I don't offend

We're joking! Geez...
You guys lost me on this one. Christine, your manic humor is great here. If you don't keep it up I'm gonna hunt you down and tickle you until you cry uncle. Gaolee, it has been a long time since we had an ehem in the thread, keep em coming, I almost input an ummmm on the comment but I got sidetracked. And Chucky knows a good joke when he sees it, even if it's well disguised. Butt bows for everybody!

The only thing I dislike about this email type stuff is no tone of voice so no way to discern the seriocity level.
