I dig the SWR, and what I need is to decide I'm going to really dig the Sunn... but my true confession here is that I want a cool rig that isn't a compilation of stuff I can "afford".
Thing is, I have a couple amps that are very good (370, Trace AH250SMX- and I really love my 370!), but I'm not really properly equipped for cabs. I could hold out for an Acoustic 406...
I'm a little into wanting parts that belong together. Maybe it's just a vanity thing, but I've been playing a long time, and though I've made some stupid decisions, I'm a little tired of coming off like a broke 17 year-old, dragging my scraps to gigs... call me vain, perhaps.

Anyone know which replacement CTS pots fit the Epi VP? I'm going to go in there and clean up my bad wiring job from when I installed the Thunderbuckers, but figured I might as well upgrade everything, since it's cheap and easy. I've read on some CTS product descriptions that imported instruments may use a different (metric, I guess) size than the US models.

I don't know all that much about 'em myself. I'm led to believe they are a very fine quality instrument. If I were to guess, I'd say Westone was inspired by Maton, not the other way around. They've had a respectable group of users over the years... but the only guy that comes to mind at the moment, is Graeham Goble of Little River Band. I'm sure our Australian contingency can tell you more:)

Sorry, Canadians are not always apologizing...

Australian is a lot like Canadian, except upside down, with a weird accent (although easier to understand than Scottish), and generally involved in things that are prefaced by "hold my beer mate". Whereas Canadians are the right way up, have no trouble pronouncing "out and about", and are generally involved in things that are prefaced by "hold my beer while I put my parka on".
