Hey... all I'm sayin' is... vodka bottles are better than empty bottlesMike, you know me better. I don't even have a logical, let alone intellectual answer to that question.

Sounds pretty damn good..A trad Aussie BBQ is meat over flames, either open grill or on a hot plate.
Traditionally no lid, and not so much into sauces, marinades and mayonnaise / condiments.
I believe you would refer to that as a ‘grill’.
Of course there is now a wide variety with lids, smokers etc available. We are getting fancy.
I still hold a place in my heart for a good, old fashioned ‘sausage sizzle’ beloved as a fund raiser for many organisations from junior sports clubs through to charities.
Piece of white bread, squirt of Tommy sauce, a bbq’ed sausage with optional cooked onions. You fold up the sides of the bread around the contents. One hand eat, other hand for a stubby. She’s beautiful mate!
Trouble is you need a huge piece of meat to work really well and you need a whole crowd to make the best of it so it tends to be an occasion rather than an intimate meal for two

Good pick-up Lar. My mind was unusually far from the gutter when I came across that one myself. I'll try & reign that in a bit...HEY NOW!!!

Looks nice, but I don’t recognise it. Did a quick google and it seems butchers in Australia traditionally leave half of it attached to the Rump, and the other half to the Round cuts.
I go the other way with it. He'd bust all the club's rules, long before he get to mineNot that kinda dark though. With all due respect. Guess that's just me though.
It used to be turned over to the dog food canners, then somebody figured out how to prepare it. Now it's a hit. I've had it smoked by a traveling BBQ outfit at the fair. Melt in yer mouth delicious. And I'm all about pork.Looks nice, but I don’t recognise it. It can be made many ways. The meat somewhat resembles a loin cut so it's perfect for marinades and rubs.Looks nice, but I don’t recognise it. Did a quick google and it seems butchers in Australia traditionally leave half of it attached to the Rump, and the other half to the Round cuts.
Yeah. Thin sliced and across the grain. It can be made many ways. The meat somewhat resembles a loin cut so it's perfect for marinades and rubs.
Smoked is my favorite.
