Those are what we refer to as "ChinaBuckers". There are a number of folks around here that have 'em. The general consensus seems to be that they're a good bang for the buck, and the people that have them don't b!tch about wanting to replace 'em. I guess you could call it, "endorsement by default" or sup'mThis may have been discussed before - so I'm upgrading another Epi T-bird, and might make it another Fenderbird....after 2 fails with 2 different pickup ideas, I'm settling for something along the lines of stock sized Gibsons or similar, but I'm on a beer budget, so Lollar and Thunderbucker Ranch are kind of last resort options. Dude on eBay is selling these for under a hundred, are they crap?

I think they're Chinese, but not 100% sure, and kinda wary of them sounding bad.
How do the EMG's TBHZ sound? Should I just pony up for Thunderbuckers instead? (damnnit)
