Nice basses!

I've been bugging people in this thread about the Hipshot Supertone since I've got an Epi classic IV pro I wanna use as an upgrade platform. How's your impression of the supertone so far, worthy upgrade?

Absolutely a worthy upgrade. Feels strong and solid, much easier to fine tune than the 3-point. I've put them on all my Gibsons. I'd compare it to ditching a Fender bridge for a Bada$$ Bridge. Some people don't like the look, but I like it - looks like the grill of a truck, sorta.

I like the Hipshot bridge. Improved adjustability over the Gibson 3 point. Small improvement on the thunderbird, bigger improvement on the Midtown. Not a necessary upgrade, but a nice one. No regrets from me on doing it. I will also be adding one on the JC.

I tried a Supertone for awhile. Great looking, functional bridge. I like it's sustain. After awhile, I went back to a three point. Brighter on the attack for me..

A Morris hobbyist? Hmmm. Well. Blimey, what can I say? It’s a lot better than being a weekend warrior I’ll give you that

Quite a funny thought a bunch of Morris dancers prancing around a garden trying to annoy the neighbors :roflmao:
Are you suggesting that Morris dancers can in any way not be annoying? THAT is a funny thought.
