Nice bass Christine!!! The advice I was given for strings on my Ibanez acoustic was Ernie Ball Slinky's in the pink package. A bass instructor told me that he had the best luck with those on the same bass. YMMV.

Nice! What's the depth on that? I had a Michael Kelly that sounded great but the body was Way too deep. Felt like I was doing a reacharound to play it.NBD for me today, jus an acoustic, I've been hankering after one for eons now and been watching this on Ebay for weeks, it's a Hofner HA-B03, I decided to make a low offer last night and it was accepted so we went to fetch it this morning as it was only 30 miles away.

It varies, 3 3/4" at the front, 4 1/2" at the waist and 4 3/4" at the back with a total thickness of about 5 1/2" in the centre of the body in the bridge position, it got an arched backNice!
