If you are going to listen to PF, this is the way to go.
My ancestry probably includes plenty of Picts who could have been in that cave, so I have to like this one anyway.

That is not the required alteration agent. PF requires other mind scramblers.Maybe I'm weird, but I cannot STAND Pink Floyd. The "classic rock" stations play the hell out of them, and I just don't get it. Just like The Doors, I detest them too. I really, really tried to like them. As a consumer of fine herbage I kinda felt like it was a requirement for me to like PF, but I could never get down with them. I mean no offense to anyone who doesn't agree, but in my book, Pink Floyd sucks. There, I said it.

I understood and excepted your reasoning all the way down to the "sucks" part. Hard not to be offended by that. I see stuff on TB everyday that I may not like or absolutely detest and I cant find it within myself to attack the promoter/contributer of the conversation by saying that what makes them happy "sucks". I happen to agree with you... but in his defense (and the only reason I didn't author another post droning on about the difference between "they suck" and "I don't like them"), he DID say, "In my book... Pink Floyd sucks". To me that's the same as saying, "in my opinion"... and he's welcome to that

Floyd with Barrett was a much different aspect in music than Floyd post Barrett. Even post Syd, but pre-dark side, floyd was a mega melange of both aspects. I guess i've got 3 albums that sum up my getting into each 'era' floyd.
