Ive had no problem with 3 point bridges & plan on having more in my future (for custom builds to be faithful to gibson design). People who dislike the 3 point bridge have not yet mastered having a proper thunderbird bass for what it is :D

I kid of course, but then again, i hate the supertone from hipshot cause it looks fugly as hell & i'd never replace anything with that hipshot. Nor babicz, looks better & "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" i really have no idea whats the big whoop or advantage (other than body contact) for hipshot replacement.

Only a weak painter would blame his brush.:roflmao::laugh:
I'm not blaming, I'm just pointing out that it sucks. Not my fault they decided to make something that sorta looked pretty-ish instead of something that actually adjusted like dang near every other bridge in existence can. I'll be happy when Warwick builds my signature model TBird.

I have a serious dislike for three point's lack of adjustability. Not everybody feels that way. I believe its because they're wrong. ;)

Other than spacing (which I don't have a problem with) I've never had a problem with the 8 of them I have :)

Whelp, Ive narrowed it down to two. I can't afford both. I must make a choice between the Epiphone T-Bird Pro IV and the Classic IV. Both are the same price but the Pro I can get as soon as I get paid on Friday, the classic I would have to backorder. (Unless you know another site other than Sweetwater I can order from that does payment plans without running a credit check)

Try AMS music (american musical supply).
Not the greatest customer service, but no credit check, payment plans, and they probably have them in stock still.

Stay away! I want that one!!! Get the natural if you must but I want that sunburst. I'm not sure how many they have in stock right now. After Friday you can get one after I've ordered mine lol :rage:
No problem, I'm still leaning towards the Classic IV, but you might want to jump on that one, it looks like the only one they have in stock...with the natural the site says they have four to choose from.

Here you go. I need to get some better shots of it but this is a Warmoth built/finished body with a Carvin Jazz taper neck.

You could always buy on Ebay with Paypal Credit (formerly "Bill Me Later.") I've done that a few times, usually 6 months same as cash if over $100(?) IIRC. :)

This might take a while, but I'm setting some funds aside for a white '76. If any of you get a line on one, please let me know. This is my new goal.

White Thunderbird roduction started in '77. They did have Bicentennial logo pickguards, though.

Mine's for sale for the right offer.

136 were made in 77-78, I've owned two of them.
