I haven't been able to convince my wife that the living room needs a motorcycle. My employer doesn't seem to think that the lobby needs one, either. Not that I know how one would get into either of those places without a certain amount of disassembly, but that's just details. That cast in Thunderbird on the timing cover is a great detail.
I worked for an Italian company called Datalogic Spa, whose owner Dr. Volta, knocked down a living room wall in his hilltop palazzo to display a Ferrari F40 in his living room....you'd think he would have picked a better looking Ferrari!...

Who doesn't love the timeless look of a Triumph...
...or the story behind the Crocker...
...but this one really caught my attention and was the one I would have most liked to take home with me..
Vintage bikes, vintage cars, vintage planes, vintage boats, vintage trains, and yes even vintage guitars and basses all appeal to me. If I had more money, I wouldn't be any richer than I am now, I'd just have cooler toys!

This is the overall Thunderbird club. Bikes, cars, airplanes, cartoons, and some other thing. I forget what that was.
That's a funky looking machine.
Fast. Longitudinal V with shaft drive...smooth with loads of torque.
I have a soft spot in my heart for Moto Guzzi bikes, have drooled over the California model for some time. If I lived in a more rural area I'd already have one (or possibly an Indian or Harley) but SoCal traffic quite frankly scares the crud out of me. Just wayyyy too many drivers around here that pay absolutely no attention to what's going on around them while driving.
No exaggeration, I'd comfortably guesstimate that 20% of the drivers on the highways around here should have their liscences revoked for habitual unattentative driving before they accidentally kill someone.
Hopefully the “celebrating with explosions” is done. Our boxer Stella has a rough time with fireworks and explosions and we live next to a school/park.Mine, too. Hope this crap is over 'til 12/31.
Yeah hear that. No regard for bikes up in the Bay Area either.. South Florida's been like that forever..
Ironically back in the 80's Floridians wanted to come to California because there was no helmet law here.
Now it's the opposite. California is also the only state that allows lane splitting..
