Pics please..I have a Epi Classic IV. Gibson p’ups.
I’d like to change the pots to master Vol,master tone, and a three way switch..
Do I need long or standard pots?
I was thinking of replacing the cap with a PIO .047uf. The pots a 500 for the vol and a 250 for the tone.
I’d like a bone nut and maybe replace the tuners. They don’t feel great.
Thoughts?
I visited a motorcycle museum in Santa Yenez California a while back. My favorite rides...
Who doesn't love the timeless look of a Triumph...

Here's a pic of my Kawasaki Triumph wanna-be(and my favorite beverage). It's just like a Triumph except that it doesn't have electrical problems or leak oil...![]()
You should try Cairo or any city in India, they have road rules all unto their ownYou haven't seen lane splitting until you go to Paris - insanity!

Somehow traffic flows around it, how I can't imagine , in town is worse
another where a man with a road sweeping hand cart tries to run across the road in central Delhi while traffic was at a standstill, a motorbike comes unseen past a lorry and gets his front wheel caught in the handles of the brooms sticking out of the front of the cart and ends up cartwheeling
That just seems to be the way it is there, quite normal apparently
You need long pots, try the combo you suggest, if you don't like it it's cheap enough to replace. Try the standard log taper on the volume and a linear on the toneI have a Epi Classic IV. Gibson p’ups.

Compared to Nashville, CA drivers all look like absolute professionals.I have a soft spot in my heart for Moto Guzzi bikes, have drooled over the California model for some time. If I lived in a more rural area I'd already have one (or possibly an Indian or Harley) but SoCal traffic quite frankly scares the crud out of me. Just wayyyy too many drivers around here that pay absolutely no attention to what's going on around them while driving.
No exaggeration, I'd comfortably guesstimate that 20% of the drivers on the highways around here should have their liscences revoked for habitual unattentative driving before they accidentally kill someone.
No idea which pots are correct. Bone nut will be good but also consider the synthetic product from Graphtech. They make a very high quality part that is very reasonably priced. As already mentioned, the Hipshot Ultralites are the way to go. I have the Hipshot made tuners on my ETBIV, but I don't know how the licensed versions are; I do know they are less money and seem to be well reviewed. The tuners on my Epi were absolute garbage; the rest of the bass has been money.I have a Epi Classic IV. Gibson p’ups.

Orlando-because of the theme parks, people turn left from the right lane, vice-versa or just stop while they try to figure out where they're going.Compared to Nashville, CA drivers all look like absolute professionals.

Ahem.
Behave! In the U.K. A head is often referred to as a nut, if that's the case here we have a real pair of bone nuts!!Mmmmm missy, and you've been calling us perverts.![]()

I got busted for lane splitting last summer. The cop asked me if I was aware that I wasn't in California. It sounds snarky, but he was actually being humorous and was a decent guy about it. He still gave me a ticket.Ironically back in the 80's Floridians wanted to come to California because there was no helmet law here.
Now it's the opposite. California is also the only state that allows lane splitting..

Something about your avatar....If I was the cop I would have probably given you the ticket too...."This guy looks like he'll pay it and not show up to court to contest it".....I got busted for lane splitting last summer.
