Marlon Brando rode a Triumph in Rebel Without a Cause. Triumph and BSA riders were scary people back then, too. Now most of the scary biker dudes are really accountants.

You may be able to take apart the switch, clean it, repair it, and put it back together. I did that for the 320 that I had back when, and it worked fine. It takes patience and plenty of very gentle persuasion.

You got a deal even if you have to replace the rocker switch with something else.

Kinda like the updated four horsemen, who are now the four bikers of the Apocalypse. Pestilence just doesn't do it anymore, so he's now changed his name to pollution. And they have some hangers on, too, like Things That Still Don't Work When You Give Them A Good Whacking.

Thanks, the 66's are supposed to be the biggest seller, I'm going to see how it sounds first though. I bought one in about 2005 and the pickups were noisy and I didn't think they were real clear but maybe they're different now. I used to have to use a noise gate with mine, first bass I've ever had to do that with. I'm surprised that Gibsons seem to be more noisy than both Fencers and Rickenbacker, even my 65 EB-3 is kind of noisy.
