Somehow Gene Simmons is the last person I would wish to own that bass. Then again, maybe he’s a nice guy in person....

Godofthunder beat me to it, but one off by Gibson For Gene. Was mostly used during the destroyer/rock & roll over era of KISS.
& Considering Gene had his Lobue bass at the time being all black, white binding, & a mudbucker, his Spector SB-1 also in black & with a mudbucker this time a dimarzio model one perhaps?) this Gibson EB-0 Les paul Junior style body was pretty inline with his basses above. & as Thunder59 said, many replicas out there, or more "inspired by" the bass itself.
& those are 3 of the gene basses i'd ever own (those of his custom made variety that are still practical both sitting & other genres)
Love them! One of my guilty pleasures.
“Guilty Pleasures” would make an excellent band name.
Just pulled into Palm Springs for a show tonight, stayed out in Joshua Tree last night after a hell of a drive, a blown tire, and the mightiest donut spare ever.

Since were doing the Stones - Ive always loved the bass in this one:
Kinda prefer the Glenfiddich 15, straight. Great sipping whisky.
The other guys (non-bass) need to start going nuts on stage. Keith, Pete and Roger were never that still. 8^P
We went to see the Stones in Cardiff last month, for old guys they can still do it better than a lot of young ones. As you can see we were right up front (cough) they were the only seats we could get despite it not being a sell out, I tell you the UK is terrible for concert tickets these days, such a con, I could rant all day! So Ronnie Wood with his Firebird which sounded beautiful

These clips were picked for vocal content, nothing more.
Actually the guitar player spends quite a bit of time airborne, has lots of Pete moves and does them convincingly. He is usually bleeding even in rehearsal, I
give him high marks. Our singer is quite mobile onstage, just not in these clip. The drummer is my twin brother he is almost 60 and when this was shot he had only been back behind a kit for 12 months with a 15 year hiatus between bands now he is unbelievable but he doesn't act like a 20 year old Keith that would be unrealistic. We auditioned alot of drummers none could play this stuff, the feel required is like no other material. So I dragged my brother out of retirement.
Our only real goal has been to recreate the sound of a live Who performance. We leave the bad wigs and fake accents to others.
