Just pulled into a town in Nebraska that even people from Nebraska have never heard of! Playing some street fest kinda deal tonight. Swanky hotel rooms compared to what we’ve had lately. Almost feel guilty for getting my own room tonight. I won’t be sending pics like Christine’s though :)

HAH!!! I played a place like that back in the early/mid 90's. Ever heard of Gadstone, Michigan? Neither has anybody else that doesn't live there! I have no idea hownahell our "manager" scored that gig, but according to the map we used to find the place... Gladstone had the distinction of being the "Pet Casket Capitol of the World"! :woot::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

It was the middle of winter. We were in northern Michigan. We were in an old van that had been converted to run on LP and had no working heater. To get to Gladstone, we had to cross the Mackinac Bridge & hang a left on highway 2, which pretty much follows the lakeshore across the Upper Peninsula as ya head towards Wisconsin. Throughout the winter, much of the U.P. is a barren wasteland, void of human existence. Yer lucky if you can find an open gas station... and that time of year especially... nobody sells "pumpable" LP gas... and the van had no gauge. It was the longest, coldest, most stressful trip I've ever been on! We never should've made it there... but we did... somehow. We were freakin' out cuz we were almost an hour & a half late, but when we walked in the place, they still had tables set up everywhere. It seems the ladies euchre tourny was a real nail-biter! We had to wait another 45 minutes before we could haul our sh!t in the door! :woot::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

Still haven't met anybody that's ever heard of Gladstone...

They often make for the most inviting, grateful showgoers..

This is extra freaky because I’d never heard of it either, but...I played there about 3 weeks ago with Eskimo Brothers :)

WOW!!! That town musta grown quite a bit since the early '90s! There was nothing there to support a band of your ilk back then...

It's cool that we each know at least one other person who's heard of Gladstone, MI:D

I'd actually heard of it down here in FL-because I'd had to buy 2 pet caskets(not recently, thankfully)

I have an extender on the 2015. All bass guitars should have one of those. They are an absolute blast to play with.
I'll ask those who have them:are they available for more/less any bass? I'm reluctant to "mess" with my 67 NR, but I've got 2 others that I'd like to convert(1 Ibanez, 1 5quier)

I appreciate it, but I don't keep track of the numbers  so I don't want to waste your time or the number

I'll just hang out quietly and learn all that I can about Tbirds from you folks :)

Don't be quiet, there's lots to get to know so please feel free to ask questions and hang with us here.
