not to sound like a snob but the song was kinda weak as well..
That's one of their better songs!![]()
Some would argue their best song and the epitome of 80s hair-metal.

Should we just post links to the 800 posts on which we have been awaiting your comment? Or should we just post the 5 line summary of what has happened?Geeze, I'm away from TB for a week and when I get back they find a way to plop ads in between posts vs just up at the header.
BTW - I'm not playing catch up on the last 40 pages of posts. So if anyone posted something and expected a comment from me it ain't gonna happen unless you let me know.![]()

Although, I'm not positive but I think I saw something about Christine leaving the TB community. Is that true? If so, it's a sad day, I enjoyed her wit and wisdom.

hmmmmmm....ok...I like scary, i'm all about scary. Scary is the way.
No scare, no dare, it's the ThunderBird way.
The Spector is gonna sound balls to the wall thru most rigs, I've never played one through that head or cab though. I'm sure it'll sound nice and aggressive. Biggest issue with used Spector basses is you never know what preamp is in it, Spector owners change preamps like most people change underwear. Just jump over to their club thread, you can't go two pages without someone asking or commenting on a great new preamp replacement. And it's not because the stock ones sound bad, it's just a Spector owner customization thing. Go figure, I guess we have something similar in TBird land when it comes to pups and bridges.Wonder what this setup sounds like...

Mesa has a cab w/ 1x15 and 4x10s plus a horn in one enclosure. Lightweight, I'm sure. Not a Mesa fan but this setup sounded pretty good tonight..

100Watt all tube. Reminds me of the Kustom stuff from back then although I could be wrong, don't think Kustom made any tube stuff..The Spector is gonna sound balls to the wall thru most rigs, I've never played one through that head or cab though. I'm sorry... can you repeat that? I'm having trouble hearing since last rehearsalEr....loud?

I would expect a seller to list modifications on ANY instrument, and they would often use them as a selling point, no? Anyway, in this case yes... It came stock with the Aguilar OBP-2 which i thought was too boomy. As a Spector club member (but inactive in that thread) i was made aware of the old school HAZLAB Preamp that gave the old Spector growl back in the day. They just started reproducing them in limited quantities a couple years ago, so i went all in and shelled out a whopping 500 bux for it (damn right I'm gonna tell any potential buyers about it!)The Spector is gonna sound balls to the wall thru most rigs, I've never played one through that head or cab though.
