Sorry dude...hate it when that happens..It got kinda cold at my gig last Saturday night, so I ended up putting on my jean jacket for sets 2 & 3. The bottom button lined up with the belly cut on my VP.

Apparently it takes much more than that to make a mark on the poly these things are sprayed with.

I suppose so, but it redeemed the value of that little bitty death-trap-looking buggy for me. At least you have a chance...
Pretty smart (pun intended) Swatch/Mercedes consortium design. I drove one in Europe once. Three cylinder two speed transmission. Great around tight European city streets and alleys. Felt unsafe on the Bahn however.
The engine (at the time) was being built at the Daimler Chrysler facility in Berlin. It was funny to see the little three cylinder assembly line which sat right next to the huge Maybach V-12 assembly line...
I've seen them parked purpen....,no, perpand....,no,pirpun...,no, at a 90 degree angle to the curb.So small it can be assembled in the aisles of the factory...

DO IT!I have an old orange 1970 Super Beetle that I have owned for perhaps 25 years. It has spent the last 10 or so in the back of my shop under a blanket. This discussion has made want to unearth it. It was always great fun to drive, and I recall a couple sacks of old newspapers in the very nose to give the front end a little extra weight.
Yep. When I was in Germany on business I frequently chose to drive a Smart car for just that reason, you can park it anywhere.I've seen them parked purpen....,no, perpand....,no,pirpun...,no, at a 90 degree angle to the curb.![]()

But I made up for it when I was in Singapore on business and selected this to drive...

or even better, large factory personnel can use them to go from point A to point B..So small it can be assembled in the aisles of the factory...
I am pretty sure you could toss my bolt on Epi into the ocean, then tow it to Japan behind an oil tanker and nothing would happen to the finish. I don't know what the poly really is, but when archaeologists dig it up in 10,000 years, it will still be shiny. It got kinda cold at my gig last Saturday night, so I ended up putting on my jean jacket for sets 2 & 3. I bet he has white socks on tooDude! Black shoes with brown!? And don't try to claim that it is too much trouble to pack two pairs of shoes. Travel with oxblood (burgundy) shoes - they go with brown, blue, green, and grey suits.

Nice view!!
So how do you like that GLX cab?
Winter time means black shoes after September besides, it's Germany, nobody cares..Dude! Black shoes with brown!? And don't try to claim that it is too much trouble to pack two pairs of shoes. Travel with oxblood (burgundy) shoes - they go with brown, blue, green, and grey suits.
It does alright, not quite as much top end as the two old SBX's I have, I actually bought it used for a pretty price just to keep upstairs and not have to haul cabs back and forth to the basement rehearsal space. Of late though, the SBX's are both upstairs and I use them for solo practice and the GLX is for rehearsal and shows. FWIW I'm probably going to cosign the SBX's and use them to help fund a Bergantino 6x10.
Not great tone here, cameras don't record bands very well, plus it's way off to one side

Not in S. Florida. Flip-flops/"Jesus boots" all year. And the "special" look-black knee highs w/ shorts and sandals.Winter time means black shoes after September besides, it's Germany, nobody cares..![]()
