That's really cools as #@$%!!! I would love to find out what they sound like. They are SD bass phatcats and they are p-90 style in a hb housing, they were a custom order by Hamer for their Monaco bass. Some later 12 string basses came with them too........they have an old kind of '60's sound that really does it for me, most of my other basses are active.
What!?!Received an email from BSO that he is shutting down.![]()
Remember it’s only a number. I hit it in February. Class of ‘76. Happy Birthday!Thank you all!
I've had a few days off from work to play that show on Friday and spend Saturday afternoon with my family. We got together at brother's place in downtown Seattle for some wonderful German food and quiet time, which I really enjoy. I'm 60 this year, never, ever thought I'd be this old! Love the time I spend with my family more than anything.
Yep. He will be missed. Great resource. And he was pretty close to me; I stopped by and picked up an order in person onceWhat!?!

Yes please, thanks!Bill, lovely Fenderbird, thank you for sharing it with us. I'm happy to add you to the club if you like.
Welcome to the club! We need more Fenderbirds around here.Yes please, thanks!
I assume thats the one we know as Carlo around here. He's a member of this club and has done some beautiful work for a number of the TBird clan here. If it's the same person he goes by @DadagoboiIf you're not going to do it yourself, there's a guy named Patti Cataldo who makes some nice ones.

Good for you for finding it! You could have overlooked, taken to the tech and paid the bench service fee for a "no fault found"..to be back at square 1Remember everyone, always check the simplest solution first.
So I was noodling around through my ACC and it starts cutting out. I was hoping it was just a loose connection in the cab, it'd be an easy fix. Mind you these older amps don't go completely silent when they're first turned off, you can get a full riff out of it before it goes quiet, so I knew it wasn't power related. Anyways I wheeled over my Mesa cab into my room and plugged the ACC into it, still acted up. Wheeled the cab and head into the other room just to try it with a different outlet.... still acted up. So I put the head back on top of the 301 cab and was about to message the amp guy. While I was walking to get my laptop I was thinking out the message "I've tried a different cab, I tried a different power source, I tried a different............................. SPEAKER CABLE!! so I wheeled the 410 back over and tried my only other speaker cable (had to use the 410 cause the cable is SpeakOn on one end) and guess what the problem was...... the stupid speaker cable
ALWAYS CHECK THE SIMPLEST SOLUTION FIRST.
