Thunderbird Club

Finally got wheels and a handle for my 210 cab. A nice little pair of corner mount wheels and a piece from an old hand truck...

Just in time for the annual Banjo, Shotgun and Trailer Fest here in Foster-Glocester! Boy, howdy!
That's the ticket, Roger...cool handle locks! Remind me of the hood pins on my El Camino SS.

Of course, mine didn't quite look that way by the time I got it. My kids used to call it "The Bomb." Probably because you could see the road through the passenger seat floor.

What does it do?

It’s technically a flanger and it can certainly do cool flanging stuff, but has a lot of ring mod type capabilities as well. I’m mostly using it as an stereo effect for my samplers. There’s an insane amount of usable sounds in this thing. Ironically, I don’t use effects for most of my gigs, so my pedalboard is more for writing my weird solo bass crap, but if you think you might be in need of something that does modulation (chorus, phase, flange), I’ve never heard a pedal that comes close to this. I like it a whole lot :)

"(chorus, phase, flange)" That alone is worth the price of admission.

A small trucks if the cabs don’t have wheels. And if they don’t have handles, sooner or later you may need a dolly for steps.
Cabs are the main issue. My Hartke 410's weigh 95 lbs each. Is there a compact/portable hamtruck or something that can do a hundred pounds and last for a while?

View attachment 3144559 Why would I want to jam with Paul Stanley? Didn’t he mostly just pose?

Paul was a good front man when I saw KISS back in '75 or so, certainly a decent rhythm guitar player as well - kind of a lost art these days.

Speaking as both a player and an amp designer/builder, I never understood why any serious head would not have 2/4/8/16 ohm outputs.

SuperPig is good down to two ohms per channel, 900 real watts each side, and you can't beat the preamp section. Covers most needs for me and it's 100% American Iron.

Thanks. It's a "Use-what-you-have" project. Purely functional, which is life, at this time.

Ok, I like that ^
