Didn't Ferodo go on a mission to destroy the one ring at Mt. Vesuvius?
He did, and upon doing so we got the birth of the wood fired pizza oven...Didn't Ferodo go on a mission to destroy the one ring at Mt. Vesuvius?

don't say that around here....And not interchangeable
Oh man, Christine would be all over that..Quick PSA for a FS post in the TB classifieds:
For Sale - ONLY: FINAL BLOWOUT PRICE , Gibson 2018 T-Bird, RARE Bright Red, As BRAND New, 10/10
No affiliation but that price for a 2018 is pretty good.
Just thought it might be a helluva inside joke.Absolutely not!
Careful, some may consider that a challenge. And not interchangeable
I find it hard to believe Gibson made a bass with a schaller bridgeProbably user, but it's a 2013 or 2014. Gibson didn't make 'em in 2012 unless there's something I don't know. I don't know lots of things, but GC doesn't know even more things.
I think they did it that way so the A and D octave strings don't hit the E and G fundamental strings. It looks pretty close to the posts already.I find it hard to believe Gibson made a bass with a schaller bridge
and grover tuners mounted unevenly in 2 groups with a big space between the E's and A's and then again between the D's and the G's. It looks like a poorly executed diy.

I really love my Bird now that is sounds proper. What a great bass!
Absolutely priced right. If I had room for yet another bass guitar that wouldn't get used much, I would be all over it.That's pretty cool! Priced right too.
If it is factory, it's probably about the only one they made. Your point about the size of the headstock is well taken. I'll have to look at my EB to see what it looks like. I don't believe its headstock is quite that big. I bet it sounds amazing, what with the set maple neck, ash body, and DiCola pickups.I think they did it that way so the A and D octave strings don't hit the E and G fundamental strings. Schaller is one of the very few, if not only, company that makes multi-string bass bridges.
If it is DIY, I think it was fairly well done. But from the size of the headstock, and the fact it still has the serial number leads me to think it may be factory.
