Thanks, Marko. I Checked out his website. Very cool stuff. It looks like he makes his own "mirrored" stock from what I can gather.

Here's what it says about it:

Silver
Clear plexiglass with silver metallic paint on the back.

That would account for the difference I'm seeing in your mirrored PG compared to Rocker47's mirrored PG in the pics further back in the thread. I bet that would be a cool process with gold metallic paint as well.

Gold mirrored would look really cool with gold hardware too.

He's easy to work with too. I think he does it as a side business actually. One thing of note, he said he can't put the Thunderbird logo/icon on due to Copyright infringements. Where I noticed the Rocker47's does have the TBird icon/logo. Has he said where he had his pickguard made?

Thank you! My pickguard is mirrored and plastic (I believe). Custom made (sent my original pickguard to use as template) by Tony at Pickguardian Custom Pickguards. He has original templates
for Gibson T-Birds but needs something to go by (actual pickguard or paper tracing) for Epi TBirds. Very reasonable and great to work with.

You'd think that after doing 1 Epi, he'd have a template to do more. -_-

I think I read that the Epi TBird pickguards vary depending on year and factories so there isn't a set template or templates, so he requests the actual pickguard or trace of it to be
certain to match the size and screw hole locations/spacings

'76, '77 or even '78... That's still early in the TBird's rebirth. It would be cool to own one from my birth year but, SOL, they weren't being made.

Hard to tell, but I have a recent Chinese vintage sunburst with a stark white PG and an older Korean limited edition in alpine white with a parchment coloured PG, that I wanted to exchange in order to give the sunburst a more vintage look - unfortunately this was not possible, as they were WAY to different...

So gibson doesnt make the non reverse reissue anymore? They just did the run for 2013 and that was it? I question it because I just got one and looked and cant see new ones anymore.

FYI the Quality Control on the finish is pretty damn terrible so maybe thats why.

Well, I bought another Thunderbird, an Epiphone Goth...just have to change the pickguard, maybe add some decal fret markers, and put some Red Devils on it.
