Thunderbird Club

I'm happy being the Bad Fish in the Relatively Big Pond. LOL!
I'm neither the best nor the worst in my area. [I might be the oldest-hmmm], I just wanna be gigging more. Most places barely pay enuff for 2 pieces so guess what's first to go, esp. if there's a keyboard player who can play the bass line with the left hand-usually just a sustained root to each chord.:banghead: (give him a short broom and a jar of Vaseline and he can sweep the floor too.);)

By the way, I hold copyright on the title of Nashville's Worst Bassist/Bass Player, so don't use it without paying me. It'll be the only money I make being a "musician".
My playing is soooo bad, I never have to pay royalties to original artists. The RIAA lawyers conclusion is that my playing is so far off the original they'd never win a court case against me.
Maybe I should join a Led Zeppelin tribute band!

James Ready 5.5 for me. Bottom side of the caps had different names so you could make your pornstar name.

If it's back home in Washington, it's Rainier, a little Vitamin R. The bottles caps all have riddles and puzzles on the underside, but they seem to get harder the more you do...

Here at the MaidStone Theatre in Ypsilanti, MI. Sound check is done and Scott, @godofthunder59, came over to say hi. It’s always so cool to meet folks we’ve been friendly with online and they’re even nicer in person!

...and a pic of my wife who goes to almost all shows with me.

Ever really notice that 'faraway' look our s.o.'s get when 2 or more bassists start talking?:whistle::yawn:
My son is learning to play bass, so his eyes might not glaze over quite so much. He has my first 'Bird, too, so that's a bonus. He is actually a musician, unlike his father, so he will exceed my abilities pretty fast. Dammit. I hate it when that happens!

My wife who is his mother? The faraway look means I get banished to the basement where the bass guitars live. And TalkBass, for that matter. Maybe the kid will be The Return of the Rotten Kid [TM].

Ahh...……….Raindog, vitamin R.

I don't drink that anymore - Thank god!

I don't remember all the Vitamin R I have ingested over the years.
Continuing the references to questionable beers, there used to be one available in the Miami area in the early 60's called "Orbit". The cans were usually rusty they sat in the coolers so long. Nobody wanted them no matter how cheap. My folks drank Regal-a local unpasteurized beer brewed in Miami, or National Bohemian-"Boh".Those were pretty good. I was underage but nobody busted parents for letting their kid(s) have a taste, at home or out fishing-back then. Times have changed.:(

So rarely do "we" get credit for the foundation we lay down and then it's usually from another bass player.(sigh)
Maybe so, but without us, humanity would die off. Bass causes human reproduction. This is a confirmed fact. We must remain obscure, or the planet would become overpopulated. It is an awesome power, and one we must use wisely.

That is a bonus you get for having to be a responsible adult on a regular basis. Avoiding Raindog is a reasonable compensation. The only other awful local wombat wizz beer I can think of is Oly. Does it even still exist? It's in the water, that's why it's yellow!
