The folding stool I've been using collapsed the other night. It turns out it was made by Acme.:smug:

Grabber? Like this '75?

Nah, you wouldn't like it. Side dots and face dots are white and almost impossible to see on maple. Besides, you have to move the pickup by hand!
I saw a bassist playing one of those recently. I talked to him after the show and he let me check it out. It was well worn and very nice! I was also surprised how light it was.

Beauty! Supposedly, I’m getting an EB-3 for Christmas...we’ll see :)

Yes, I’ve been looking. I like everything Gibson! I’m also loving the Ripper and Grabber basses a lot. Eventually I’ll collect one of each.

My first ‘real’ bass was a Gibson G3, followed up by a Ripper. Love em both! Had a Grabber for about 10 years. One of my favorite sessions I ever did was on a Grabber. I’m kinda on the lookout for another Ripper, but I wouldn’t trade my main Gibson T Bird or Cataldo for one :)

Maybe that all the chases had to be on the road since there were lots of occasions when he was off the road. ;)

Saw some YouTube vids last night from people driving out through that hellish scene. Scary indeed.
I hope you out that way have managed alright.

I've heard 40% contained and a couple of weeks before it's out ~

It's a '95 LPB-25 that I've had since '96. Stock Barts and currently has D'Addario half rounds on it. I really need to play it more though it is kinda heavy.
was meaning to ask you. I remember the std Les Paul bass being somewhat uncomfortable due to the thickness of the body and the sharp edge of the bound top. Yours does not seem to have binding. aside from the weight is it comfortable? how's the balance? Always wanted a LP bass..
