Did you used black (electrical) tape on the lower part of those (Gretsch) pointer knobs? These "G" pointers never made the final cut on this bass but they were on a bass of mine years ago! Seeing that you also did that cracks me up! (as in, I thought I was picky!)

I’m playing in a reggae band now and no slapping is required. My kinda fun!

It would be a blast to play bass in a full-on reggae band - it's the most important instrument!
