Oh yeah! that is a Debbie Harry.
...that is a Debbie Harry? Is there more than one or are you trying out for The Godfather?

Totally OT, I'd always wanted to try driving one of those truck trains you folks run in the outback. I've pulled twin 28's but never something like 3(or more?)45'-53'ers. Even if they are on the "wrong" side of the road@Engle & @PillO
Which pickup impedance setting do you favour ?

A logical tool like that takes all the thrilling randomness and potential for harm out of it. If there's no possibility of sudden, catastrophic disaster, it's hardly worth getting out of bed.
They are 6V6 or EL84 amps, which means fairly low power on that side of things anyway. I mostly mess around with the preamp tubes. I haven't got into the guts of the Valve Junior to induce sag, which wouldn't exist in a single sided amp anyway, but it can be done. Same with messing with plate voltages by using different resistors. I haven't got into that yet either. There are lots of projects ahead of those projects. I need a clone. So what are you doing? Preamp or power amp (or both) subs? You can go down a LOT by dropping tubes in a preamp chain, or the splitter. You probably know this, but not everyone will. Lower gain preamp and splitter tubes will drop the power (and hence the volume). They also impact tine, so you may get pleasant or unpleasnat surprises, depending on the tube and amp circuit.

Yes. Busted. I was being over general. While it’s less than you get with a class AB amp, it does exist. And there’s always squish with cathode bias.
Oh, I'm sorry about that.OK. Time for a book report. Started reading The Gibson Bass Book around 0100. Hated it so much that I put it down-@ 0400! Ruined my sleep, filled my dreams. Gorgeous.drooldrooldrool

but it doesn't, one sure way to damage a tube amp in an expensive way..A logical tool like that takes all the thrilling randomness and potential for harm out of it. If there's no possibility of sudden, catastrophic disaster, it's hardly worth getting out of bed.
what do they know?..The sound man said it sounded better...
do it all the time unfortunately..Really? I've never broken a string. I did have a tape wound come unwound due to someone else's carelessness.

I need a clue. Way beyond my scope .They are 6V6 or EL84 amps, which means fairly low power on that side of things anyway. I mostly mess around with the preamp tubes. Thank You for your efforts.Oh, I'm sorry about that.![]()
