Love Itzhak. Talk about total mastery of your instrument.
I don't think he hit a single off note the entire night. The piano player missed a couple notes.
Kinda puts you in your place when you realize that you probably make more mistakes in one song than Itzhak does in an entire 2 hour concert. Guess that's why he's a virtuoso.
By comparison, I'm more of a virtual-so-so. :D

:laugh:You should trademark that.

I'm kicking myself in the @$$ for buying one 20 years ago, I can't believe how much better it sounds than my GK cabinets. After our NYE show our guitarist said "I heard the bass tonight!" :D

Gotta agree with the Queen! I love my Goliath II 4x10. Best 4x10 Cab i've ever played through. Very mid punch focused with enough boom & sparkle highs to balance out. I can imagine the 6x10 to sound awesome

For what its worth, I took the '91 out to play last night. it sure sounds good with tapes. Precision on steroids with the neck pickup and bridge pickup swapped. I didn't do anything to the eq, didn't touch the volume or tone knobs, just played it. The only anomaly is that there was a little bit of an adjustment problem right at the last couple frets on the E string before fretboard ends at the body. That's my setup problem, and the fact that I haven't adjusted it in who knows how long. Tonight is when I'll start taking it apart.

Note to self - freezer bags and a sharpie... Plastic trays that the supermarket uses for meat these days will come in handy. I don't know why the supermarket is using fairly heavy plastic trays, but they make great parts trays. The '91's guts will go into separated freezer bags that will then go into a plastic tray for the duration.

New TB just arrived. Bought on eBay and it’s still in its box with plastic wrapping etc.

I know it’s a bolt neck but it’s my first TB and I love her all the same.

Can I get a club # :)

Sandwich bags work too.

Nothing wrong with that! My first bird and main player is a bolt-on Epi IV. They let me in. 8^) Welcome.

Howay bonny lad! What fettle?

Great, now the two of them are going to be speaking Scottish at each other and the rest of us will be scratching our heads.

is it buzzing? or do you actually play that far up the E?

Fettle?

That was what it was advertised as, have no idea if it is what he said. All I know is it’s a TB and sounds good :)

Sticking some EB Power Slinkies on as we speak
Bolt on or not, it's a 'Bird. I take it you have started playing it - which means it chose you. Congratulations!
