I was just messing around. I haven't played that far up the neck in real musical action since I was born. When I get it back from paint, I'll need to reassemble it and set it back up anyway. I plan to back off the truss rod as soon as the strings are off. Which means adjusting it completely when I get it back. It's going to the east coast and will go through who knows how many temperature and humidity changes on the way there and back. The bridge is a Babicz, so I may have lowered the string a little too much whenever it was I last adjusted things. I didn't do any adjusting when I put on the tapes. That probably contributed. I'm really and truly a CroMagnon.is it buzzing? or do you actually play that far up the E?
Is that the fettle of the Bonny lad, or is it the fettle of the bird?
