I got talked into a GK in once..........musta been '82. I sold my beloved Marshall Super 100 Bass for it. The GK lasted about three months, it took me that long to find another Marshall. I couldn't get rid of the GK fast enough.

There are people who want the smallest, lightest, newest amp no matter what. That's fine. It's not my MO, as everyone here knows well enough already. As long as it works for what you do, why replace it? I can't even go into the amp forum much these days. It's just a bewildering alphabet soup of model designations. Who needs that!

I don't really care about newest or smallest but lightest? I'm in(assuming it sounds good). I got my Rumble 200c in November of '15. I can lift it into the van* with one hand and it sounds good for anything I'm likely to do.

When I modelled my Traynor settings in the tonestack calculator, they displayed as a pronounced boost in the bass* and low mids and otherwise flat. Makes sense as the both controls are maxxed and the freq selector is at minimum.

The explanation for having both is really very simple: the Safari has 268,000 miles; the Aerostar 336,000. They both run well, have plenty of room for gear, are certainly paid for and aren't worth in trade, so I'll keep them 'til they quit.

The voice knob on the M6 actually looks useful, as opposed to the D800. Nice-looking amp. I like simple.

"Simple" was one of my primary criteria when I bought my Orange. Also, controls that are big enough to read in low light, with no glasses.

That is the version that my wife bought me for Christmas. it fits all of my Birds, including the VP. Its not a tight fit, but not much room for the bass to move around either, which may not be a bad thing. There was a similar bag a few years back that would fit the bolt neck Epi's but was a tight fit. This one seems to have more room in it so there isn't strain on the headstock.

You know how in Florida they have the “Turtles” in the roads to designate lanes? The last time I was there I asked someone how they had them without the snowplows shearing them off.
I was met with a blank stare.
