I think I already recommended Ken Scott’s autobiography for recording nerds. I went straight from that to Tony Visconti’s autobiography, which is even better. Nearly went straight to another engineer/producer autobiography but switched gears and got a Cormac McCarthy book instead. Read tons of his stuff and never tire of it

yes, seen one or two (maybe even been in one?) but those waffles make for the best late night after gig chow..

A Waffle House is the last place I'd want to be in the wee hours of the morning, especially during a full moon.

The H22 is a made in Asia recent 'Reissue', very different from an original in construction. Plus the asking price is near what a vintage one goes for.

In addition to Ronnie Lane's work with the Small Faces, Muff Winwood played an H22 on the Spencer Davis Group's versions of 'Gimme Some Lovin' and 'Im a Man', among others.

Sooo good. I remember something about chopped, diced, smothered and covered. Insert Ahem here. But really you had to know the Waffle House lingo. The juke box was pretty cool too if I remember correctly. Last time I ate at one was around 97-98.
