The way they’re currently strung, my list would be very similar to yours. I’ll record the Cataldo with a fresh set of BassBurners as it was the most handicapped by super dead strings.
Like I say, it was a gift and I’ve never had one on my radar to buy. I was pretty shocked when I first tried it through an amp. Hoping the TI flats make it a little more solid sounding as well. I love the sound of tapes but hate playing with such a light touch. With any luck, it’ll be cool on the odd session
I just know her from around NYC. She's great people. She lent it to me and I really bonded with it. She never did, so she offered to sell it to me. She plays a green bolt-on Carvin now.
So cool. Yeah, she seems to have a special relationship with that green Carvin, kinda like Thor with his hammer.
What's with the "V. Tired"? I saw that on the video.
Did she have it strung 'righty'? Or are these old eyes playing tricks on me?(It looked like it in the video)

The archtop guitar behind her has my attention, too. There's nothing like the bark of a really good acoustic archtop. I doubt it would be there if it wasn't a good one.
So the M6 passed with flying colors. I'm floored with it. Just tremendous sounding.

That’s great news! So glad it worked out.
You’ve been playing a 700rb, yes? How would you compare the two? I use a backline 700rb all the time. Curious how you feel though. Still happy with the Berg cab after trying the Mesa with a 212AV?
There's a side of me that wishes i had 12's again. It was truly glorious through the AV.
As far as comparison goes, it's really apples and oranges the way i'm hearing it. The M6 is so fat and warm while being extremely articulate with gobs of power. The GK700RBii sounds great as well but to my ears doesn't have that mid to upper mid warmth. They both hold their own in what they do. What the GK excels at to my ears is the grind. But with the B7Ku, i can get all that, with the warmth. Plus the Mesa has got all that crazy low end, just like i remember it. Thank goodness for the Broughton. But now i'm all confused about the Berg. I gotta work with this new rig a bit to see if i'm gonna go back to all 12's or not. This sh!t never ends, Does it.
