I wonder how Waffle House fights compare to Chuck E. Cheese's fights? Those are quite entertaining.

Solid point. One thing about Chuck E. Cheese's is that these are kid parties.Probably not as good since I'd have to think that the adults aren't coming in already soused. But maybe I'm wrong...
Matching shoes and belt, too?
No. Unfortunately I don’t have a black car, woulda made that easy. The H22 is a made in Asia recent 'Reissue', very different from an original in construction. Plus the asking price is near what a vintage one goes for.
In addition to Ronnie Lane's work with the Small Faces, Muff Winwood played an H22 on the Spencer Davis Group's versions of 'Gimme Some Lovin' and 'Im a Man', among others.

Yeah. Also makes obsolete expressions like "where'd ya get yer drivers license? Sears?"bums me out to see companies like Sears go......the Silvertone stuff was pretty rad.....

Gotta wait for better weather to take my colour matching car picture![]()
Bob Daisley ?I was playing my VP (with a pick) with my daughter’s band the other day and we did Crazy Train. We hit the solo section and I remembered the bass line just in time...I couldn’t really hear the solo, but the bass sounded glorious!

Exactly what went thru my brain when I read his statement.
Mine are in a straight line, but the lengths are all over the place.

The Korean Rex is a fantastic deal on the used market. It is a LOT of bass for the $$$.
I had a Legend 4X and it was built solid. I replaced all of the electronics with EMG pickups and the SNC preamp. Played and sounded fantastic. I'm sure the US version is nothing short of amazing!
yeah, I have a hard time believing this thing ever got a UL listing..Yeah. Also makes obsolete expressions like "where'd ya get yer drivers license? Sears?"
Wasn't Sears a BIG 'supporter' of UL?yeah, I have a hard time believing this thing ever got a UL listing..

Definitely ain’t gonna be sunburstwhite basses

Definitely ain’t gonna be sunburst

CARP.
They’re pretty great.LOL - as the old saying goes - Nothing good happens after midnight.
A Waffle House is the last place I'd want to be in the wee hours of the morning, especially during a full moon.![]()
If anyone could possibly be interested, here’s a soundcloud rundown of the 7 basses I played last night into Logic. Everything just straight into the interface, no tweaking of the sounds. It’s pretty ‘warts and all,’ with plenty of clams and lots of fret noise on the Hofner, especially. Both ‘Birds have dead strings, especially the Cataldo. I also don’t like the strings on the Drake. 8 bars with each bass.
[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
1. Hofner 500/1 w/black tapes
2. EB3L w/ Dunlop Super Brights
3. ‘02 Gibson T Bird w/ deadish Lo Riders
4. MusicMan Sabre unsure on strings
5. Cataldo NR w/ super dead BassBurners
6. Gretsch Spectrasonic w/ Black Beauties
7. Drake w/ Cobalt Rounds
They ARE huge. But anything smaller just looks weird to me now.DANG! That TB-VP head looks HUGE!
Word gets around. The guy with Chris Isaak was playing a H22 in a special I watched. It was so cool I had to google it
