Just cooked up the last of the barley from earlier in the week with some mushrooms for brunch.

You can cook it the rice cooker, just as you would rice and let it cool a little. It's good with a splash of soy sauce. It's super healthy.

Oh, sign me up. Can you give me more details on that? Our rice cooker gets a ton of use. Still haven't tried making congee in it.

Finished up drums, bass, acoustic guitars, most of the electric guitars and pedal steel today. Working at the drummers home studio, which is fairly humble, but enough gear to get by. For mics we had

I think working here convinced me I’ll most likely get an Apollo interface of some sort for my home studio. Being able to cut through really nice plug ins before the DAW with no latency was a neat luxury

In Augusta, GA, at Daniel Field (the private airfield frequented by Masters players in the spring), someone owned a Mustang. We occasionally see him take off; he'd do rolls and loops as soon as he could after takeoff; always a breath-taking joy to watch (and hear). But one day he buzzed the VA golf course nearby (this would have been in the 69-71 time frame). A couple of vets playing the course flashed back to being under attack and hit the dirt. One of them had a mild heart attack. Never saw that plane fly again, and it was gone before too long. Probably sold, possibly moved far away; we heard the pilot had a lifetime ban from flying in the USA.

An FHP trooper on FL's turnpike caught someone on radar approaching his location at over 150 mph early one Sunday morning(prolly circa 1985). It was a Mustang about 100' off the deck, flying IFR[I Fly Roads]. From what I heard the pilot was given a wrist slap and told "don't do that again" between snickers*.
