Thunderbird Club

That was really cool! Are you the guy with the long hair?
No, I wasn't there that day. That guy was in a hair metal band in the 80s, though. I was there when we first got a bunch of new sand tigers, though. They came on a flatbed truck. It was a crazy operation to get them from the parking lot to the actual building with their tank. They entered through an opening on the second floor of the building, so they were hoisted in those gurney things from the ground all the way up and then into the building along a track and then into the pool.

Put up a waterslide and lure them along it with sausages....

Computers and the whole digital media/home theater/whatever the f*$% else thing has me stymied, hands at my sides, twisted and incoherent.

We had a tv that was "free"... some stupid ads, whatever. We had a phone that was a few $ a month, and a car you could fix. Now it's all alien technogy, and buggy to boot. And all of it is expensive.

***. Yeah I'm keeping my 370. It represents sanity to me.

GOF rant over. For a minute... but it's ok, maybe I'll go spend some time with my cassette 4-track. :)

I gots a whole lot more cassettes than CDs. And no mp3-or whatever. Flip phone doesn't 'stream' either-and if it did, it would sound like crap anyway. Oh, both vans have AM/FM/Cassette. I do have a Sirius/XM receiver that goes back and forth between vans. Welcome to the 2000s.:smug:

If you go looking for it on the Epiphone website, you will find it under out of production
Epiphone Thunderbird Pro-V Bass

I can't recall the years of production, but I am confident that the last ones are 5+ years old now. Ebay and reverb are the places to look. But, they seem to come up for sale infrequently; not sure if that is because there are very few of them or because those that own them aren't selling.

I thought he may have been talking about the V(intage) Pro.
Bloody Epiphone naming conventions
