Thunderbird Club

FP - here's what I use with my guitars (not basses) (it loves P90 pups). I find it to be one of the more useable reverbs and the overdrive is beautifully voiced as well. Very compact and dirt cheap. Not sure but I think they can only be had from musicians friend or guitar center.

Watch the whole clip, well worth the money.

I really like Fat shuga

I know her sister, Miss Shuga.

Obscure LP/band alert : for all you Beefheart fans - you may or may not know about Mallard, so here's something to spark your interest. Two LP's were made in the mid 70's, I have this one and all songs including this one are great. Mark Boston (Rockette Morton) on the Fender bass.
Mallard (band) - Wikipedia ps - Chucky recommended I post this here :) and with this cover art... a shout-out to our Mark!

this is a fave of mine - bass very much in 'the mix'

I actually saw the real Mallard at the National Railway Museum in York in 1977. Stunning.

@GonePlaid I was expecting a bigger reaction to the Blazing Saddles reference. I was looking forward to saying, "You watch your ass." :)
Sorry! Long day. I was kinda zooming through posts during first period intermission of the hockey game(Panthers/Penguins). Panthers got 'Skroobed'.

Nope, only guitars. I assumed it was for Kats guitarist.

I joked to her before, that when she gets the reverb, she'll need another drive pedal to balance everything out. She replied she only needs one drive pedal.

Mark this date -- Wednesday 06 March 2019 -- the day a guitarist with taste and restraint was discovered in the wild.

Is it an AnalogMan pedal?

I have a general policy of not letting my bass be played by anyone other than a friend. When I was in The Eddie Taylor Blues Band in Chicago, we did a college gig up in a northern Illinois suburb. One guy (very drunk) was offering to give Eddie $100 to play bass for one song. (this was early 80's so $100 was a chunk of change) It killed me when Eddie asked if I would because I had to tell him no. I would have loved to have this drunken dude give him $100 - but the bass to be handed over was my '64 T-bird II. Always felt bad about it for Eddies sake but as you all know, I still have that bird in one piece. Eddie most likely expected me to refuse as he understood how someones instrument was sacred - he just would have liked that easy money!
You chose wisely.
