That’s a cool machine. I like pretty much everything Waldorf makes

^um yeah, this. Just having some fun.I think most of us are parodying those out in GP that will jump on any mixed drivers. Well designed cabs will work well; poorly designed cabs will sound like. Regardless of number and size of drivers.
There are those that hear a single piece of wisdom, adopt it as their own without any understanding, and parrot it back incessantly. And that is why your Thunderbird sounds terrible, always heads directly for the floor, and then without warning the headstock spontaneously pops off.

Yep, gonna be invaded by the scariest monsters that are defeated by stairs*Invalid Link Removed

Hello friends!
One of my tuning keys is worn out but still functional, the handle tends to slip on the shaft when tuning up the G string after tension starts building, I believe it's been deformed inside so the flat side no longer locks it tight since it wiggles compared to the others when the small screw on top is removed.
I'm low key looking for new tuners, however I'm not sure what size I'm looking for and I don't want to de-string it to remove the tuner and measure the hole in the headstock so I'm turning to you my thunder comrades:
Does anybody here perhaps know what size the tuner holes in the Epiphone Thunderbird (Goth) headstock is? I have googled, it has led me to believe it's 14mm but I'd rather have confirmation if possible. =)
He actually had a series of shows booked starting in May. Still very sad.Well, crud. I was hoping to get to see him some day. Agree with your assessment.
Careful now. You may be going down the same electronica rabbit hole my brother is in. He was a bass player. Now he's a synth, uh, player? I'm not sure if you play or program what he does. It is interesting sounding, whatever it is.
It is quite the rabbit hole, but I love doing whacky electronic stuff. Most of my stuff is ‘experimental,’ which is a nice way of saying ‘unlistenable.’ Most of it involves bass in one way or another, though

14mm is about .55 inches. I think Hipshot tuners come in 1/2" sizes, so that might work. I like Hipshot Ultralight tuners a whole lot, and you can get them with cloverleafs. The Thunderbird specific cloverleaf tuners are just a bit smaller than most, so you have to call them and coordinate with them to be sure there's no problem. The regular size clovers work, but overlap slightly, which means there's a small chance of a conflict between adjacent tuners.
