I have broken my upright twice. It is not a happy feeling. I am really sorry it happened to you.
Even a high quality bag cannot solve all problems. Both times mine broke were freak accidents. One was a slow motion tip over behind the van. The singer saw it start to go and almost caught it. She felt bad, but it was my stupidity for leaning it like I did. The other happened when I stumbled going up steps with it. I almost never stumble on steps. It was not out of action long either time, but that sinking feeling is not one I wish on anybody.
Not that I know of. This is what's available so it's what I buy.G.P. Tell me that bottle has a Smootharizer in it. If it doesn’t, run out and get the cans.
The cans and some bottles have a widget in them that releases a hit of nitrogen to replicate the draught experience. That’s what gives it that smooth and creamy head. Not that I know of. This is what's available so it's what I buy.
They're also different beers. Different alcohol content. The cans and some bottles have a widget in them that releases a hit of nitrogen to replicate the draught experience. That’s what gives it that smooth and creamy head.
There appears to be a widget shortage in S.E. FLThe cans and some bottles have a widget in them that releases a hit of nitrogen to replicate the draught experience. That’s what gives it that smooth and creamy head.
I've heard of those but haven't run into them around here. I prefer bottles but I'll look closer at what cans are available. My longtime friend used to privately deal double basses as a partial income playing (first bass chair) in the KC Symphony. Always had 8-10 basses lined up waiting to sell - it's a relatively small world and he knew everyone in the biz all over the country. He told me numerous bass accident/repair stories, one involving a valuable pedigree Italian instrument tumbling violently with owner down a long flight of stairs, shattering it to pieces. Being that it was a very valuable instrument - it was painstakingly repaired and was continued to be played afterwards. I looked inside the F-hole with a flashlight and it looked like Frankenstein - a roadmaps of lines and patches. It also cost thousands of dollars to repair but was worth it considering it's worth was in the 10's of thousands.
So you're saying his bass will be worth $6 Million afterwards?Awww! That stinks! We can rebuild it. We have the technology. Faster. Stronger.
Maybe with Kung-foo grip.
But most importantly: What kind of glue?
I’m certainly not trying to be the beer police. It’s just that outside a bar/restaurant that knows what they’re doing, some packaging will give you the better Guinness experience. It probably has the most mythology/methodology out of a lot of beers. Plus, I’m jealous I currently do not have The Mother’s MilkThere appears to be a widget shortage in S.E. Na-na-na-na-na-na-na.......but be really cheesy and make a weird sproinging noise when Mark plays it.
Mine is a plywood Chinese made bass, so its value is limited. It is a Christopher, so it is actually pretty good. And it is mine, so fixing it will keep happening up to a point. It has spent a few nights dodging drunks and drummers in dive bars. Drunks have not hurt it yet. A drummer tripping over a cord is one reason I am now wireless, but no damage. It has all been self inflicted damage. It is a lot more ordinary looking than Mark's, but I might like it at least a much as the 'birds. Maybe. It depends on the day.My longtime friend used to privately deal double basses as a partial income playing (first bass chair) in the KC Symphony. Wabi Sabi.just part of it's history/story -
It is cruelty and bad planning on my part that St. Patrick's falls during Lent when I don't drink. It is a good policy for the rest of the year, but I would miss good scotch and the evening glass of rum with my wife.I’m certainly not trying to be the beer police.
