If you play a 5 or a BEAD tuned bass, it will reproduce a low B really well. Deafeningly well. The low B on my EB3 is massive through the 1510.

Playing a DGCF bass... looking forward to trying it.

Both Thunderbucker 66S pickups (NR41 and Orville) are as shiny as they day they were born. The 66N in the JAEbird is not.

On the relicing or roadworn look I sit firmly in the ‘it depends’ camp.

Not going to slam anyone that does it or likes it, but not sure I want it.

Even some Artist sig tribute guitars have relicing to match the Artists guitar straight from the factory.

Totally valid suggestion. Could also be the environment of the previous owner. Or maybe the actual owner, like Jeff. If I want something like that aged, maybe just have Jeff handle it for a few minutes.
