Yes, i know. I also think something like this might be super bad @ss. What was once my brothers modded Melody Maker.
A good friend of mine has an original gold top Les Paul. He got it in the 80s I think from some guy who needed the money. He's been offered insane amounts of money more recently. I love that he keeps it in its hard shell case along with all his other guitars and basses. He let me play with it once. No overprotective at all.
Nice. All you need really. The truth is, while I may have occasional fun enabling her pedal GAS, I'm not in the business of choosing her guitars for her. I made the suggestion and that's an end to it.

Never mind whether you look like Ox. If you stand perfectly still, you are acting like him.
Entwhistle was the biggest influence on how I play. Such that there are influences. Playing in a Who band would be a challenge and a whole lot of fun. Enjoy it! Actually, I am sure you do.

Now I can see why he stood still! Playing this is a enjoyable challenge but I have to watch the other bandmembers like a hawk there's a lot happening up there. I have researched a lot of Who tributes, most sound like hollowed out caricatures and pay to much attention to the visual. I like to give John a nod in my wardrobe I wore black and a fringe jacket similar to the one he wore.

New country is bad 70s arena rock with cowboy hats and baritone voices singing words about pickup trucks and beer.Kind of how "Country" today is pop music with a twang.A friend that likes the cheesiest Hair Metal is also into "New Country". I told him he is just a fan of pop music with sprinkles.

Not necessary unless you have something specific in mind. I prefer Babicz bridges, but that is entirely elective. The 1991 has Hipshot tuners because I wanted chrome clovers as part of being a poseur with chrome hardware instead of black. The other two kept the stock Grovers except for a Hipshot X-tender on the E string.

He had to dodge their destructive tendencies. I am always amused when I see a clip of the Who destroying everything, and Entwhistle carefully shielding his bass from the mayhem. He got that part right, too.

Like others have said, are you looking for any particular improvement or change? I love the Hipshot bridge because of the adjustability.

I have some Hipshot tuners on my '89, they're great looking in chrome, since I converted mine they've offered a set specifically for Thunderbirds that fit better than the ones I used. I like a "vintage" look so I think it's a good idea. Regarding the bridge, I used a Gibson 3 point in chrome, however if you're wanting to change it out, I'd look at converting it to a two point with a Bad Bird bridge, or a Babciz in chrome. Either of these two look great on a Bird. The Hipshot is a fine bridge too, just my .02 that it doesn't look as nice on a "Bird.

I had all of those mentioned so far except the Dragula. Loved them, and yes, the Beatnik Bandit was probably my fave.
