Just trying to be inspirational here... but it's true that if you're on a motorcycle and running off the road, you'll land at the place you're looking at. So don't get your gaze fixed on the trees... look between them.

Do you mean Jersey?. That's not really an option because i'd have to pay taxes in both Jersey and NY.
And the extra cost for the Jersey commute into NY.
I'll figure it all out. I can be pretty resourceful when put to the test.

Move to Philly. Livable, affordable (for the time being) close enough to everything on the East Coast, a gazillion clubs large and small, a gazillion bands (many of which need bass players....) and the sports teams are finally competitive....for the time being!

Well, my first thought on all this was to try and leave NY altogether.
Not sure it's really feasible for me to pull off. But i do like Philly.
I'd much rather go to Headquarters though, (Seattle).
