Thunderbird Club

At my house sometimes NBD has a different meaning.

New
Bra
Day

This one is perfect for a couple of dresses I recently got.

Lull single pickup Thunderbird and a Subie, I'll be flouncing around soon this nice Spring day!

How embarrassing! A scooter? You don't really ride that... Out in public? Do you?

It comes with me on band trips sometimes, great way to kill a few minutes during set up/soundcheck.

Would love to find one like that!

Its a sweet little *$%^#@, one loud, angry pick up in the voice of God position - Rock n Roll simple. Mine was $700 back in day, worth every penny.

Agreed, the Greco T-IIs are excellent basses. And that bridge cover is odd, doesn't match with the holes on mine either, which matched the Gibson reproduction covers just fine. Best $650 I can remember spending in a long time.

Its a miracle when a computer dummy like me can make anything work, but the Lynx Aurora (n) 16 TB is all set up, works with Logic and all my mic inputs appear to be working...party!

The only question now is do you use the red ribbon, or the peacock blue with gold edges ribbon?

Thursday... and NBD
(New Bass Day, no, New Bird Day, no)
New. Blackbird. Day.

I've been on the lookout for an original one in excellent shape....I love it, even if my wife says its ugly (and I have too many basses).

Excellent! I would love to have one.
My wife never says anything about how mine look. Well, maybe once. She complimented the natural finish on a Foundation I brought home because it matched the furniture. The conversation about basses is generally pretty limited. Her: So how many of those guitars are there? Me: not enough. We pretty much leave it at that.

Here's a question Bird-herders ... what length of cable are you typically using? Wireless doesn't count.

We can even do this in 'Merkin units.

I have a 20' cable from bass to pedalboard + 10' between board and amp. AFAIK the always on Broughton L/HPF functions as a buffer, which allows me to discount the shorter cable entirely.

I'm kinda the opposite in combination. 10' from bass to board, and 15' from board to amp.

20 footer from the amp for me.
