Thunderbird Club

Has anyone had the opportunity to compare a maple board Lull T4 or T5 to a rosewood equipped one? Or maybe the difference is subtle enough that it doesn't matter? Still miss my '76 Tbird (sold in 2000), just not the neck dive.

I have a T4 it has a rosewood neck - I don't really love maple so a comparison is tough, and possibly quite expensive. I will say that you won't be disappointed in one of Mike's Birds, they're very nice basses.

Despite the headstock, that is one drool-worthy bass.

In sitting around waiting for my guitarist to return from FNQ (yes, that's as sweary as it sounds) news, she has declared for Orange amplification. Other people's GAS is often just as enjoyable as one's own. The AD30 is a monster. The funny thing is the 212 that goes with it is only 3kg lighter than my SVT212AV bass cab.
