I have to apply for membership in this club now!
Mine's an Ebony black Epi Vintage Pro.
Congratulations on getting that AND on the case fitting it. Those VPs are long. What case is that? Thx
I hated reading tuba parts. There should be a law against notes being that far under the staff.
Yes. But once in a while the tuba man has to read a string bass part. I bite my lip as I chuckle.
It's Epi's own T-Bird case, 940ETBCS. It fits like a glove, is very rugged, has ample space around the head, a big compartment for straps, cables and other useful stuff and a very soft, furry interior. And it smells nice too!
I had to get a case for it considering the size of that head. Gee, it's gigantic!
Congratulations! Beautiful bass. I hope Epiphone will decide to release a left-handed version, but not getting my hopes up at all.
Tuba man sounds like some kind of superhero. Probably has only two powers - roots and fifths.
you'd be surprised....folks playin tuba in Banda ensembles around here are the envy of many a bass player..
I haven't payed close attention, but my recollection is a sound to the effect of blat blat blat (rest), blat blat blat (rest). I will wear my ignorance proudly here.
the music makes me want to jump off the Golden Gate but check out this guy..
Wise choice! Rock it with pride!
RIP Cathedrale de Notre Dame de Paris....tragic....
But, where are the tubas? All I see are Sousaphones.<snicker, snicker>
i know, but hey, they call them tubas...I ain't disputing nuthin'..
That seriously sucks.
They can't spell sousaphone??
they can't say it..
"Tuba" is the phonetic representation of how we Texans say "sousaphone". Too much work the other way.
Ah'm fixin' ta mosey on down to the corral and whack them varmints stealin' mah cattle with mah tuba."
See? Just rolls raht off the tung.
I'm sick inside.
I guess I can say I'm glad to have seen it in person almost a year ago.
