Men's shoes, why do they have to be so ugly?
maybe it's just those shoes?....
Men's shoes, why do they have to be so ugly?
..Because men are ugly. Of course!
Men's shoes, why do they have to be so ugly?
I know, right? Same with men's clothing.
Small rant here...…..
For the most part, yes. There are some men's clothes (and men) that really do look sharp. I see lots of people through the course of a normal workday, its completely commonplace to see nicely dressed women (nice clothes, and nice ensemble) on the train, walking to work and coming in to my store. Men doing the same thing are a rarity at best, I don't mind saying that I enjoy seeing a well dressed man, it just doesn't happen often. Further, it seems as though men are not allowed to wear anything even remotely form fitting, as if we should for some reason be ashamed to show any hint of a figure, and were you to do so, you'd be thought of in less than masculine terms. I detest most men's pants, they're baggy and often fit poorly and are unbecoming for the most part, since starting my job in downtown Seattle I've never worn men's pants to work, ever. I wear women's pants, usually from Eddie Bauer, they fit nice , look sharp and feel really good on my skin. I have some nice kind of stretchy black ones from Macy's that I really like too, so much more comfy than any men's pants!
It's new dress day, that's for later...…..end of small rant.![]()
TLDR, I don't like men's clothes!

Agreed that most men's clothing is ugly. I wore these shoes into the ground and really miss them.Small rant here...…..

i think it's our styling in the States....Europe is completely different but as you say, could be viewed as less masculine over here..that said, our military uniforms are some of the sharpest looking IMO..I know you're kind of joking Will, but the truth is, Men are not ugly. I think there are some societal constructs that suggest men shouldn't care about their appearance (or themselves) in the same way that women do. I don't agree with it, men are every bit as attractive.
My example would be one of my fave '80s bassists, the late Benjamin Orr of the Cars, always stylish and handsome and of course a great player.

Bach Series 2 NR with '67 Thunderbird pickup. Bass is gone, pickup still lives here.
I actually wear fairly tight jeans, not because that's intentional, but because they eventually shrink. Black jeans are my way of not thinking about clothes very much. They work when I'm doing physical work, they work in the office, they work traveling, and they work on stage. Shiny polyester only comes out on stage, but maybe I should start thinking about more shiny - a flamenco dancer kind of thing. I'll still be ugly! But, I don't think any of us would want to get into a contest with a male flamenco dancer about who is or isn't masculine.i think it's our styling in the States....Europe is completely different but as you say, could be viewed as less masculine over here..that said, our military uniforms are some of the sharpest looking IMO..
Bach, bum trussrod, banished. That NR's not bad in white.
I had a custom pickguard made for my NR. I sent the original to them and they matched the shape and screw holes.Hi Club! I'm now the proud owner of a brand new Epi Thunderbird Vintage Pro in Tobacco Sunburst.
I really dig the guitar. Headstock is super heavy, so I'm gonna put some weights in the body cavity to even it out a bit. I'm not exactly a purist, so I'm thinking about playing with the pick guard. I'm under the assumption that the pickguards for the Epiphone models and the Gibson models vary in some respects. Most places that do custom pickguards don't have the template for my exact instrument.
Does anyone in this forum have any experience with this?
