On a positive note, he didn’t put any extra holes in the body...

Well, I like the Hipshot. But...

W T F !? Just a crappy piece of aluminum? Light weight I suppose, but shouldn't it be chrome to match?

I assume you have bought this otherwise fine bass and removed the offending bit of metal. And on that assumption, NICE, great find.

Them Ewe Doers
How about them Ewe Doers, Ain't they news?
Down in the pasture a doin' them Ewes.
Doin' them big sheeps, doin' them little
Doin' them lambs, hi-diddle-diddle!
Look at them Ewe Doers, Ain't they creeps?
High boots on, chasin' them sheeps.
Them hooky dooky Ewe Doers, stompin' through the weeds,
movin' them Ewies, fillin' they needs.
How to be a Ewe Doers? Ain't much to it;
Meet a sweet sheep, Then you do it!

"Ewe talkin' to me?"

I read somewhere on the internet (so who knows if it's true) that these particular goats have a genetic disorder that causes them to seize up under stress. It apparently doesn't hurt them. The story goes that one or more of these goats would be kept with a flock of sheep so if a predator attacked the flock the goat would freeze and drop to the ground and end up being easy prey for the attacker, allowing the rest of the flock to escape. Hence the term, scapegoat.
Interesting if true.
I believe. It was on the internet, where everything is true! Plus, it sounds plausible.

I carry the genetic defect of knowing exactly what to say once the moment has passed.

My friend in HS had a good theory - after God made man he then of course made woman. The man, being made before the woman, had not been made with the ability to know what to say to a woman. So God then gave man this ability. But since man was given this gift after woman was made he then would only know what to say after the fact.
That explains everything!

No I just saw it on local CL and had to share the absurdity!

Sitting around the house. Can’t seem to really do anything yet. Still enough pain that simple tasks are a drag. Focus is a bit tough on these meds. So more rockumentaries it is! In the past two days I watched
Johnny Thunders
Hank Garland
Mick Ronson
Drivin n Cryin

Been pleasant enough, but really need to DO something besides documentaries and short walks :)

He must have had a big hand, long fingers to think to put it there. Good thing he didn’t like playing it between the pickups...
You should buy it and remove the offending bit of metal. The metal looks like a hazard, you know, if you were to do windmills or something...

But most important. You Should Buy It!
I would, just to free it from the current keeper.

When will you be able to play?

When will you be able to play?

I’m sure I could now, but it would hurt. Just kind of forcing myself to take a break until I can’t stand it! Aside from the physical pain of this sort of thing, it’s really draining in every way. I had made up my mind that once I got out of the hospital, I was going to do as little as possible in order to recover as quickly as possible. I’ll dive back in fairly soon, I reckon :)

Who is 'they'? Probably The same people who would substitute cottage cheese for ricotta in lasagna...and velveeta for mozzarella.

Tasso is a spicy Cajun pork shoulder, typically used in jambalaya or red beans and rice. Again, very different from chorizo but that's also supposed to be a substitute for it.

I don't see the point in calling food what it isn't. If you're going to make up the ingredients, make up the name, too. With chorizo call it something Mexican, like 'Montezuma's Revenge'.:)
They are the recipe writers and the cook on the show. Note we are not talking about Mexican Chorizo or other Sth American Chorizo. Spanish chorizo.

So forget about anything Mexican.

Here's an interesting article on aversion to cilantro: Invalid Link Removed

I definitely have that.
I know people that can’t stand Coriander.
Some of the Asian restaurants locally go pretty heavy handed with it through the dish and/or on the top as a garnish. The Filipino folk seem to use cilantro in the same manner.

PS: I do know.
