or an NR..To play with the Who, he needs a Fenderbird. Or maybe a Jaebird. That would also work.

I guess i'm just going to be a hypocrite here. I used to swear by the B7Ku, until i picked up the Ashly pre i have that replaced it. No going back to DG for me.
Alright, call me fickle, just don't call me Shirley.
I think we have seen that one kicking around before.nice spin on a '13...

Thunderbird (Epi Classic, TB+ pup's) into Trace Elliot AH250SMX>Eden D410T (pre-SWR), is absolutely a punch in the bread basket, and very, very satisfying. I'm happy with my rig, all settled.
couldn't find a price listed....I think we have seen that one kicking around before.
I like a sense of low end heft, a dark, brownish bed with a lot of punch. Doesn't mean dubby low end, I like punch more than pillow, but I do not like brittle mids. I do like some finger-noise up top. Not too glassy,What sort of tones do you go for?
Wow. That's all I can say about that one.nice spin on a '13...

Wow. That's all I can say about that one.
The Flamingo got delayed. Apparently there was some problem that turned up with the finish and he's got to respray it. I don't know what that means exactly.
bummer...just hang in there, I'm sure it'll be worth the wait..Wow. That's all I can say about that one.

He seems like a really straight up guy. I don't know which two companies you mean, and I don't need to know. My thoughts on the matter are that you don't know who you are dealing with until something goes wrong. It's not that something went wrong, it's what they do about it and in response that matters. So far as I can tell from a distance, he's doing the right thing. The up side to this is that it was caught before it went out, i can name 2 companies which would have let that go.
Hard to refrain naming them, but, i'm trying to have a little class here.
Hmm, sounds like there was a problem that turned up with the finish and he's got to respray it.The Flamingo got delayed. Apparently there was some problem that turned up with the finish and he's got to respray it. I don't know what that means exactly.
when I got the belly cut done on my BaCH, the guy that did it complained about the weather at that particular time of year. He said he preferred jobs like that in the summer. Because I needed the bass, I told him to go ahead and because he's hourly I took the bass back with a spray job that could have been done better. it's not bad but could be better. No biggie since it's just a BaCH and you can't really see it because it's on the back and you kinda have to look closely. In retrospect, I would have waited until summer. These guys aren't cheap..He seems like a really straight up guy. I don't know which two companies you mean, and I don't need to know. smart business....I ain't going to the schmoe who did the cut again...never even said, "bring it back in the summer so I can finish it properly"..I had this very same thing, that happened on a Stingray i had refin'd here.
She called me to tell me about it, and was honest about it. Explained the whole thing to me.
She said it had to be redone, and was her fault. That meant a lot to me that she wanted to do the right thing.
