Ours are too, I think I can speak for most of us.Had a drummer come in today for an audition. Oir guitarist was struck down with some lurgie but we soldiered on without her. He was very nice about my playing and wants to come back for a go with the guitarist.
I'd forgotten what it's like to play with a proper drummer. He's really good. Really loud. Overplayed a bit because he's trying to impress us, but he was actually following my dynamics which is excellent. Fingers crossed.
Hmm. That middle colo(u)r ain't bad either.
The day job makes many things possibleFunny how that works. Actually, not funny, but still a fact. My son is living the dream, such that it is, playing trumpet ant other things in LA. When he visits, he looks around the house and I can see the wheels turning a bit. A day job pays for a pretty nice music room.
You are absolutely right! But still, you have a piece of heaven at home! MANY of us didn't have that GIFT (Ask around!)
One interesting thing about heaven and hell is that when we're there we can't even tell! so E N J O Y it!![]()
That’s a recurring theme in my lifeThere are always spare parts after any good repair. Now you need to figure out what to build with the excess.
A good drummer that can play with dynamics is a must IMO.Had a drummer come in today for an audition. Oir guitarist was struck down with some lurgie but we soldiered on without her. He was very nice about my playing and wants to come back for a go with the guitarist.

Yeah that is the right bass for her and I am happy to let her play it.Good performance. The bass player looks like a natural 'Birder.
It’s interesting to see them develop as players. A few months ago I would not have believed Trevor could play that Randy Rhoads solo.Does my heart good to watch kids do that. That’s why I don't let the noise in guitar stores get to me. Good on you for encouraging them.
I picked up some new vinyl:

Anybody here have a GK MB500? My PF350 has become flaky and I really like my MB200, but I need more power for some gigs.
Hi Miles: I have the Pro-IV and had thought the bridge was the same as the fiver. Mine is a '13. Do you have a pic of the old bridge? Sorry if I missed previous post with explanation.
I like my active - raw and powerful, mids all the way - but I'm always considering the Bartolini pups and going non active.
